August 5th, 2017, 2:04 p.m. - Does Derek have a fidget spinner tattoo? Discuss

Teen Wolf – "Said the Spider to the Fly": I don't know, this episode just didn't get me that excited. But I think the season will be really interesting, especially with the returning cast members. Rating: 3 giant spiderwebs

Game of Thrones – "The Queen's Justice": I liked the twist of Bran and Meera showing up when we were all expecting Arya. And if I were playing a character on this show, I'd want her to go out just like Olenna. R.I.P., you magnificent queen. Rating: 4 poisoned cosmetics

So You Think You Can Dance – Academy Week No. 3: These people are all so talented, and I can't imagine each all-star having to choose one over the other. Can't we have a top 20? Rating: 4 accidental kicks to the head

August 6th, 2017, 10:35 a.m. - Does not contain actual bending of spoons

25. Spoonbenders (Daryl Gregory)
It's like Arrested Development and You Can't Take It With You mixed with psychic abilities and a dash of A Prayer for Owen Meany. I would watch this as a Netflix series.

Up next: The Girl Before (J.P. Delaney)

August 12th, 2017, 1:23 p.m. - Who would win in a SYTYCD personality-off, Mark or Robert?

Teen Wolf – "Raw Talent": So we have to watch spiders swarm around all season? THANKS, SHOW. Rating: 3 times I cringed at the screen

Game of Thrones – "The Spoils of War": Me at the beginning of the episode: "I hope Bronn gets something to do." Me at the end of the episode: "...Okay, then." Rating: 5 dragon attacks

So You Think You Can Dance – Top 10 Perform, Pt. 1: Everyone made excellent choices. The only person I was really disappointed not to see make it was Zachary, but they said he's doing Cats, so I'd say he's doing okay without the show. I still wish the show could have taken more finalists, but I'm excited by this group. Rating: 4 cans of hairspray

August 19th, 2017, 3:26 a.m. - Can we please stop using the words "girl" and "girls" in book titles?

26. The Girl Before (J.P. Delaney)
Almost everyone in this book is awful, and it's lucky that the only likable one was the one in danger at the end, because otherwise I wouldn't have cared enough to finish.

Up next: The Readymade Thief (Augustus Rose)
