I didn't expect Hepworth to ever write anything I would be interested in. I stand incredibly corrected.
I liked this a lot but was disappointed that the identities of the kidnappers were so easy to figure out. Then Jean hit me with a twist I never would have guessed. Well done, Jean.
This was so much less complicated and frustating than The 7 ½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. You may not have lost me forever, Turton!
This is how you write an unreliable narrator. I'll have to try Luna's previous books; her writing is really compelling. I was hesitant going into this because a review I read said some people hated it, and its ratings weren't great, but I was sucked in right from the beginning and was eager to keep going.
