November, 2003
November 2nd, 2003, 1:02 a.m. - Spring springy
The weather was gorgeous today - it felt like April instead of November. I wish we could have this kind of weather all year round!
November 3rd, 2003, 2:39 p.m. - I have a boo-boo
Only I could get stung by a bee in November, while indoors. (Well, I only touched its stinger, but it still hurt.)
November 6th, 12:01 a.m. - Oops
I'm officially in the class I need to graduate, but there are still only nine spots, so it looks like someone got bumped. I'm sorry, whoever you are! I didn't want it to be like this! Don't be mad at me! I just want to get out of here!
November 7th, 2003, 2:03 p.m. - I'm a non-comformist, I guess
Friday Five:
1. What food do you like that most people hate? I know a lot of people who hate spinach, but I don't mind it, especially if it's cooked.
2. What food do you hate that most people love? Meatloaf. Can't do it.
3. What famous person, whom many people may find attractive, is most unappealing to you? I'm facing the wrath of many friends, but Orlando Bloom. It's not that he's unappealing to me, it's just that I don't find him as attractive as other people do.
4. What famous person, whom many people may find unappealing, do you find attractive? I'm not that clear on who most people find unappealing. Maybe Erik Palladino, who most people hated while he was on ER but who I find hot.
5. What popular trend baffles you? Cell phones. I understand their necessity (or "necessity") but you don't need to carry a phone with you every single place you go. As our campus chaplain says, there's such a thing as being too accessible.
November 10th, 2003, 7:02 p.m. - Awwwww
I have the best hall! They put balloons and streamers and a note on my door wishing me a Happy Half Birthday. Awwwww!
November 14th, 2003, 11:02 a.m. - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Happy Birthday, Lauren!
Friday Five:
1. Using one adjective, describe your current living space. Small
2. Using two adjectives, describe your current employer. Non-existent, future
3. Using three adjectives, describe your favorite hobby/pasttime. Relaxing, inspiring, involving
4. Using four adjectives, describe your typical day. Boring, long, tiring, studious
5. Using five adjectives, describe your ideal life. Happy, long, fulfilling, enjoyable, worthwhile
November 18th, 2003, 12:39 a.m. - Here we go...
All together there are 23 pages in term papers between me and Thanksgiving break. I've come to chew gum and kick term papers' behinds...and I'm all out of gum.
6:10 p.m. - 2 down...
Make that 21 pages.
November 21st, 2003, 1:01 a.m. - Who's a birthday boy?
Happy Birthday, Daniel!
Friday Five:
1. List five things you'd like to accomplish by the end of the year. Graduate, get a job, find a place to live, travel a little, and maybe get a pet.
2. List five people you've lost contact with that you'd like to hear from again. There are a lot of people that I only keep in contact with rarely, so I'll name some of them: Ellen, Kirsten, Daniel, Aaron, and Erin.
3. List five things you'd like to learn how to do. Speak French, speak Italian, ice skate, knit a blanket, and, strangely enough, bake cookies from scratch without ruining them.
4. List five things you'd do if you won the lottery (no limit). Give some money to charity, buy a house, travel, stuff my bank account, and buy some random stuff.
5. List five things you do that help you relax. Read, write, sing, listen to music, watch TV.
November 23rd, 2003, 1:34 a.m. - My little boy is all growed up
Happy Birthday, Aaron!
Just 7 pages left....
November 24th, 2003, 2:39 p.m. - Two to go (or "Smashed", for Buffy Trivia players
Just two pages left! And I get to go home tomorrow! Feel the excitement!
November 28th, 2003, 1:32 p.m. - We love capitalism
Friday Five:
1. Do you like to shop? Why or why not? It depends. I like shopping for clothes with other people because I like to have their input. But if I'm just getting books or something, I don't mind going by myself. However, you should always go to Walmart with other people. It's more fun. :)
2. What was the last thing you purchased? Food.
3. Do you prefer shopping online or at an actual store? Why? Actual store, because with clothes, you can try them on, and with books, you can flip through and make sure you want them.
4. Did you get an allowance as a child? How much was it? Yes; I can't remember how much I got.
5. What was the last thing you regret purchasing? A scarf, because right after I bought it I learned to knit, and now I don't need it.
