"Déjà Vu "

November 4th, 2007, 10:40 p.m. - It's back, it's back, it's baaaaaack!

"My Donkey is Broken!"

November 5th, 2007, 10:14 p.m. - I get the "I told you so"

Yes, this season of Heroes has been boring, and at times annoying (seriously, does anyone care about Maya and Alejandro? Nope, didn't think so), but! They found a way to not only end the stupid Feudal Japan story AND keep David Anders around. So who's dumb now?

November 7th, 2007, 9:14 p.m. - This is my favorite story ever

Also, thank you for giving your children normal names!

November 11th, 2007, 11:45 p.m. - Shut up, Ron

"Papa Don't Preach"

November 13th, 2007, 5:46 p.m. - Ay yi yi

38. Escape (Carolyn Jessop)
I have so many thoughts on this book, I can't even put them into words. Basically, everything you've heard about fundamental Mormonism is true, and women and children are so mistreated, they're not even second-class citizens; they're more like 15th-class citizens. Jessop escaped with her children a few years ago; they were so brainwashed that they prayed for her death (at their father's request) so they could return to their religion and, well, not go to Hell, as they thought they would. And if you think that's sad, HUGGING WAS AGAINST THE RULES. JESSOP COULDN'T HUG HER CHILDREN FOR 15 YEARS. For the love of...

A sad read, but well worth it.

Up next: Due Preparations for the Plague (Janette Turner Hospital)

November 14th, 2007, 6:01 p.m. - God help me, I still love to say, "What happened to Andrae?"

Tonight is the fourth-season premiere of Project Runway. Do I really have to say anything more?

For the most part, I love the fourth season of any show (see: Buffy, Gilmore Girls, Scrubs, Alias, Angel [yeah, it was dumb, but at least it was entertaining]; exceptions: The Office, which isn't doing it for me yet, and The Amazing Race, which is kind of hit or miss every season anyway). So combine Project Runway and fourth season and I hope my excitement is well-founded.

November 18th, 2007, 11:02 p.m. - Camels! And a new column!

"Crying Over Spilled Milk"

"Thanks For the Memories"

I miss Lost.

Up next: The Center Cannot Hold (Elyn R. Saks)

November 26th, 2007, 5:39 p.m. - I'm gonna get me a chicken and name it Phil

"Why Did the Phil Cross the Road?"

"Spit-Take"

November 27th, 2007, 10:28 p.m. - ...

40. The Center Cannot Hold (Elyn R. Saks)
Saks got an undergrad degree from Vanderbilt, a master's from Oxford, a law degree from Yale, and a degree in psychoanalysis, all while struggling with schizophrenia. So...yeah. I'm gonna go...sit in the corner now...and look at my bachelor's degree...from a liberal arts school...

Up next: God's Harvard (Hanna Rosin)
