Brennan is dead, and though Charlotte and Danny don't know what happened to him, they don't want to be connected to the discovery of his body, so they flee. Ava and Drew come across the body next, and Ava worries that an autopsy will detect the sleeping pill Brennan ingested, and she'll easily be tied to it. As she and Drew take advantage of the security system still being down to move the body, Charlotte realizes that she's lost her bracelet, which got caught on Brennan's sleeve. Carly learns of the glitch in the security system and calls in Jason to help her figure out what's going on. He realizes that someone deliberately messed with things, and the two of them guess that it's somehow related to Brennan. They go to his room, and Jason immediately clocks that someone else was there before them. Gio and Trina are nervous ahead of their first performance, but they get a lot of support from their significant others and friends (and also Quinn). Simon still wants them to play it like they're involved, and he cautions Kai not to be the reason his girlfriend doesn't make it big. Ric panics over a double date with Elizabeth, Portia, and Isaiah, and turns to Lulu for advice. Lulu's like, "Have you tried being a normal person? Because you need to just be a normal person." It works, somehow. Scout is furious to hear that Charlotte and Danny "borrowed" and dinged Chase's truck, since Drew will use it against Danny if he ever finds out. Things get heated, with Danny and Charlotte trashing Drew, and Rocco siding with Scout as she defends her father. Josslyn balances her new job with her social life by having Hudson meet her at the bar where Trina and Gio are performing so she can sign contracts. In related news, this storyline is stupid. Dante and Lulu agree to apply what Britt told them about Rocco and give him some more freedom to make his own decisions (and possibly mistakes).
Do any of the teens' parents know where they are right now??
I appreciate how freaked out Danny and Charlotte were about finding a dead body. It seemed realistic.
Why didn't Danny and Charlotte call Sonny or one of their fathers?
Lulu: "Be yourself." Ric: "That is terrible advice." I know, right?
Jerry mention! (Just in case it's significant.)

Drew and Ava bury Brennan's body in the nature preserve that now occupies the Quartermaine land that Monica ceded to the city. Outback finds the grave and starts digging, but Charlotte takes her away before she unearths anything. Outback has already proven to be good at scent work by leading Chase to the people who stole his truck. Danny takes full responsibility, and Chase makes it clear that he won't be going easy on him when it comes to consequences. Anna fails to get Valentin to support her theory that Britt is dangerous, and he fails to convince her that Cullum was responsible for all of her recent trauma. In other worse, Britt is still very much in danger. Jason suspects that Valentin searched Brennan's room, but Carly tells him that he didn't have time, as he was busy searching Drew's office with her. Josslyn comes by Brennan's room when he doesn't call her at an appointed time, and the three wonder what's going on. After getting confirmation that Brennan's black box hasn't been disturbed, Josslyn calls him in as missing. Britt thinks that Lucas is too nice for letting Joe stay with him and predicts that Joe will take advantage of that. Trina's happy that her and Gio's performance went so well, but also sad that her life is going great while Curtis' isn't. Kai reminds her that her father would be as happy for her as anyone, and she shouldn't hold herself back from doing what she wants to do. Emma's glad that she called off the camping trip so Gio could do his performance with Trina. He tells her he's already made up for the cancellation by planning a trip to Montreal. Brook and Hudson are filler.
I can't believe Drew didn't try to frame anyone for Brennan's death.
It would be hilarious if Brennan had his Drew evidence on him, and Drew can never get it because he buried the body. It also would have been hilarious if Outback had dug up Charlotte's bracelet.
I'm SO SURE the barely trained beagle tracked Danny and Charlotte's scents from Chase's truck.
Jason thinking that someone in intelligence hacked the security system begs the question: Where did Martin get that flash drive?
Lucas, you have to get some friends so you don't feel tempted to hang out with Britt. Hang out with your new roommate instead.
I really thought Gio was going to suggest that he and Emma go camping in the nature preserve.
September 3rd, 2026
Ava and Drew meet up so she can warn him that if she goes down for Brennan's death, she'll take him with her. Nina sees them talking and blows up about Ava apparently trusting someone she shouldn't trust. Ava convinces her that they're working together on a Sonny-related plan, and she knows better than to get too close. She keeps scratching her head, and Nina discovers that she has a tick. Meanwhile, Drew plants Brennan's wallet in Nina's car. Charlotte eavesdrops while Carly tells Valentin that Brennan has disappeared. He thinks Brennan faked a kidnapping to frame Valentin, which won't work, since Anna can give Valentin an alibi. Danny confesses to Jason that he borrowed and dinged Chase's truck, which earns him a ban from driving any kind of vehicle for six months. Jason talks to him about consequences and recklessness and bad decisions, and how he could have hurt someone else. Danny definitely gets the lesson and even apologizes Charlotte for not being more careful. She's not really thinking about that, since she now knows that no one found Brennan's body in the pool, which means someone must have moved it. A WSB agent named William Baines comes to town to investigate Brennan's disappearance, and to make sure Josslyn stays out of it. She asks why she's been assigned to run JJE, and he tells her that the bureau needs her intel on things like the company's subsidiaries. Chase and Joe go over everything they know about Curtis and Jordan's crash, getting stuck on Lucy and Drew's statements. After the success of the barbecue, Sonny again brings up the possibility of Justine being okay with them making things public. She still says no, so he suggests that they take a vacation together.
Of course Drew's going to frame someone. How could I have doubted him?
Nina thinks hooking up with Drew is the biggest mistake she's ever made? She stole a baby!
Danny's punishment may be extreme, but considering that if he'd hurt someone, he probably would have lost his license, it's kind of tame.
Sonny and Justine are boring. It's time for someone to find out that they're hooking up.
September 4th, 2026
Chase has suspicions about Brook being involved in Curtis and Jordan's crash, and a conversation with Emma about Brook not being at Gio and Trina's performance that night raises some red flags. He badgers Lucy about her statement about Willow, and Lucy crumbles. Chase confronts Brook, who promises to tell him everything, but not until after the Quartermaines' Labor Day party is over. Trina overhears them talking and calls Brook out in front of all the guests, accusing her of being the mystery driver. Jason runs into Anna at the shooting range, where she's obviously getting in one last round of practice before going after Britt. She summons Britt to the land she plans to buy from Sonny, making it clear that if Britt doesn't come meet her ASAP, she won't get any answers about Cassius. Jason goes to pick Britt up for the party, and Tristan tells him where she went. Jason calls Sonny, knowing he has property in that area, and Sonny mentions that he's selling a piece of it to Anna. Rocco lets Scout tag along when he goes to pick up something from Sonny's house, which gives her the chance to spend some time with Alexis. Alexis learns that she's also going to the Labor Day party and warns that she's playing with fire. Indeed, when Drew discovers that Scout left the house without telling anyone, he tracks her phone and is furious to see that she went to Sonny's. She's actually at the Quartermaines' now, hanging out with Rocco and telling him that she feels like he's the only one who sees the real her. He agrees, and they kiss. Ava tries to be casual about where she may have picked up a tick, but since it's not usually found in the area, Isaiah will have to call the CDC, in case the species is spreading an illness. He won't let Ava brush off his questions about where she's been in the past 24 hours that could expose her to ticks. Speaking of that location, Outback is back there, digging around Brennan's grave again. Drew tells Martin that, while he didn't find anything helpful in Brennan's room, he's not worried about the WSB chief anymore. Martin thinks he's a fool to be so confident that his problems have been resolved so easily. Alexis is happy that Jason is leaving the mob, though she's not sure if his friendship with Sonny will survive the dissolution of their partnership. Sonny points out that, once he and Jason aren't criminals anymore, Drew will have fewer and fewer excuses to keep Scout under lock and key. Kai worries that with Willow and Trina now living on the same property, the former will harass the latter about what she knows about Drew's shooting. Michael promises not to let that happen, but I'd like to point out that he hasn't given any specifics about how he plans to ensure that.
I love how everyone's acting like this Labor Day party is a big deal when most of the family isn't even there.
The worst part about Brook and Chase's inevitable breakup – other than the part where it was completely avoidable if Brook had ever learned a lesson in her life – is that Willow will probably get him back.
Obviously, Jason's going to save Britt, so this is dumb.
I can't believe we went from "Ava helped bury a body" to "Isaiah has to call the CDC."
They're eventually going to have Tristan do stuff, right? Because so far, Outback has contributed more to storylines than he has.
September 8th, 2026
Britt makes a good effort to talk Anna down, but Anna doesn't believe that Britt wasn't involved in her abduction and isn't a threat. Jason, of course, shows up and also makes a good effort, reminding Anna that killing Britt won't wipe out Faison's line, since James and Bailey are also in his family tree. He warns that if Anna kills Britt, she'll lose her own family, but Anna's already willing to go to prison and probably won't mind never seeing her daughter and grandchildren again if it means they're all safe. Brook admits to being the mystery driver, angering everyone except Tracy, Ned, and Michael. Trina's especially mad, and Gio wonders if Brook gave her a showcase to make up for the crash. While Brook tries unsuccessfully to get Chase to forgive her, Gio tears into Tracy for keeping Brook's secret, then announces that he's done with the Quartermaines. Meanwhile, Chase goes to the gatehouse, because of course he does. Drew wants to search Sonny's house for Scout, not believing Sonny and Alexis' claims that she's not there. He finds her phone and accuses Alexis of violating the restraining order by being there at the same time as Scout. As soon as he leaves, Sonny calls Rocco to let him know that he needs to get Scout home ASAP. Drew wants to call the sheriff and report Scout missing, but Ava points out that she could be with friends he hasn't bothered to call. He admits that he doesn't know who her friends are, which Ava notes is a whole other problem. Scout comes home and lies that she must have left her phone in the pocket of a hoodie she gave to Donna. She also lies that she was with friends, but Drew doesn't believe her. When he asks if she was with Danny, she says she was. Ava delays having to tell Isaiah where she might have picked up a tick for as long as possible, eventually telling him that it must have jumped onto her from a dog she petted. Jordan guesses that Michael knew about Brook being the mystery driver and suspects that he gave her Curtis' job out of guilt. He promises that he respects her business skills and wanted to do something nice for her and Curtis. Scout and Rocco confess that they have feelings for each other, but it's not a good idea for them to openly be together, since she knows Drew won't approve.
As I expected, I can't feel bad for Brook. She had multiple chances to fix this, and she didn't take any of them. She had to have known that this could mean the end of her and Chase, and that wasn't enough to make her do things differently.
I predict that Chase hooks up with Willow, then decides he wants to fix things with Brook.
Okay, Trina, let's not pretend that Brook is the reason Curtis is in prison.
Good luck proving that Scout and Alexis were at Sonny's at the same time, Drew. Also, he has no questions about why Scout was there in the first place?
Scout, I feel like you haven't thought through this lie...
I hope someone checks Outback for ticks.
September 9th, 2026
Jason continues trying to get through to Anna, who starts talking to Peter out loud. She's eventually able to resist his encouragement, and instead of shooting Britt, she shoots him. Britt hightails it out of there, and Anna admits to Jason that she's been imagining Peter for months. She feels horrible for what she almost did to Britt and praises Jason for defusing the situation. He thinks that she would have stopped herself even if he hadn't shown up. While Anna tells Emma that she's not as well as she's let on, Jason cleans up the near-execution site, intrigued by a bullet casing. Ned tries to comfort Brook, but he can't exactly reassure her that she hasn't ruined her marriage and split up her family. Gio thinks that Brook should have known better about lying after being the victim of Lois and Gloria's lies, as if the situations are in any way similar. Emma tells him that he's justified in being upset with Brook, but he shouldn't drop his family just because of some bad decisions. He agrees and goes to talk to Brook, though he can't keep the glare off his face. Chase tells Willow about Brook's lies and how he feels like he doesn't know her and maybe never did. Willow is sympathetic, and nothing happens between them, but Hudson sees Chase leaving the gatehouse and will definitely be filing that away for later. Britt goes to see Josslyn, demanding that she get in touch with Brennan so he can handle Anna. Josslyn is skeptical about her story and wants to confirm it with Jason before she makes any moves. She does feel bad for Britt, though, and lets her spend the night on her and Trina's couch. Trina and Kai tell Portia and Isaiah that Brook was the mystery driver. The news doesn't affect them a whole lot, and Isaiah doubts that it'll make Curtis any nicer to him, but for Trina, it's a deal-breaker for her music career. Josslyn questions why Hudson is so devoted to JJE when he's only worked there a few months.
Why did Jason take Anna home? She's having full-on hallucinations! She needs a doctor ASAP!
Also, yay, because Anna "killed" the hallucination and we're done with Peter!
Britt, don't call a mentally unstable woman crazy while she's holding a deadly weapon.
I don't like that Gio is making this about himself.
Did I miss something? Why is Hudson suddenly talking like Josslyn is the permanent CEO?
September 10th, 2026
Anna tells Dante that she needs a leave of absence to deal with her mental health. He totally understands, having gone through his own struggles with mental health because of the WSB. She gives him the heads-up that Britt might be reporting an incident to him, and if she does, Anna wants him to respond accordingly. Later, Anna apologizes to Felicia for using her to get out of the treatment center in France. Felicia acknowledges that she wasn't thinking clearly and only did the things she did because of her mental health issues. Britt is much less sympathetic, by which I mean not at all, and thinks people should care more that Anna could have killed her. In turn, Emma and Felicia think that she should be more understanding of Anna's situation. Emma also thinks that Britt has no leg to stand on when it comes to Anna's actions, considering all the horrible things she's done. Lucas tries to calm Britt, but mostly he just tells her that people would feel bad for her if she were nicer. Ned and Tracy bring in Alexis to represent Brook as she meets with Justine to discuss the crash. Justine can't really charge her with anything other than damaging public property, but it looks like she thinks the knowledge of what she did and some of the resulting events is enough punishment. Brook wants to make amends, starting by apologizing to the Ashfords, and she ignores Tracy when she tries to stop her. Tracy turns her attention to what she expects will be a Brook/Chase divorce, while Ned appears to believe that there's still hope. Jason fills Josslyn in on what happened with Anna, and she acknowledges that it makes total sense that Cullum would torture her psychologically to discredit her. She tells him the truth about Cassius' involvement in anything, and he realizes that her decision to keep it quiet is what led to him being freed from WSB custody. He's going to let Josslyn decide whether or not she should report Anna's actions to the bureau. Chase tells Joe that Brook was the mystery driver, leaving out the part where she tried to frame Willow for it. Gio leaves it up to Trina to decide whether they continue their music careers, and possibly even their friendship. She promises that she's able to separate him from his mother and doesn't hold her actions against him. Emma laments yelling at Britt, but Gio likes how she went to bat for Anna. He's optimistic that Britt will surprise them. In related news, Britt wants revenge.
Britt picked the wrong Scorpios to go up against.
Even if Justine had decided to pursue charges against Brook, I'm sure Sonny would have had something to say about it.
I love the contrast between Tracy and Ned at the end – she's thinking about divorce proceedings while he's thinking about helping Brook and Chase work things out.
They really took a long time to get around to Jason learning that Josslyn is the reason he's free.
I'm not sure Gio and Trina have a choice about quitting music. Didn't they sign a contract?
September 11th, 2026
Britt wants to go to the police about Anna almost killing her, and she asks Jason to back her up. He tries to get her to understand that Anna was sick and never would have gone through with her plan. Britt doesn't believe him, and her fear that Anna will come after her again leaves her unable to feel compassion for Anna. Jason chastises her for trying to punish someone who's experienced trauma when Britt knew that Anna was Cullum's hostage and didn't try to help her. Brook tries to explain herself to Trina, who doesn't buy her fear of losing Phoebe as a valid excuse for leaving the night of the crash or choosing not to come forward afterward. She thinks Brook arranged for her to get a record contract because she felt guilty, and now she'll always wonder if she really deserved it. Knowing that Willow never got anything from Brennan to use against him, Drew taunts her with the threat of revealing that she shot him and Nina tried to drown him. Willow isn't worried, since he doesn't have any proof and he would sound crazy accusing her after he defended her so passionately at her trial. The two are at an impasse, but Drew warns that Willow might not be so confident about her safety for long. Baines questions Carly about Brennan, seeming to suspect that she had something to do with his disappearance. Valentin thinks that it's more likely that Brennan ran away, knowing that his career was in jeopardy in the wake of what happened with Cullum and Cassius. Baines points out that Valentin could have done something to Brennan as revenge for the Pikeman debacle and because they were both involved with Carly. Carly points Baines in Nina's direction, which Valentin doesn't like. Ned hopes that Chase doesn't suffer the same fate he did when Lois took Brook to live with her in Brooklyn. Chase doesn't want to lose time with Phoebe, but he also can't see himself staying with Brook. Ned wonders if his real problem with Brook lying and trying to frame Willow is the person she chose to frame. Jordan tells Curtis that Brook was the mystery driver, and instead of acknowledging that he made a horrible decision based on a faulty theory, he blames Brook for what happened after the crash. Tracy wants Alexis to help Brook get primary custody of Phoebe, potentially using Chase's relationship with Willow against him. Alexis notes that if nothing has happened between the exes yet, and Brook and Chase are now separated, anything Chase does with Willow is irrelevant. It's a sure bet that Tracy has something brewing to change that. Nina confides to Ava that she really likes Brennan and wishes he would get in touch. Ava carefully convinces her that she's better off without him.
I'm begging the writers to find just one thing in Britt for me to root for. Right now, she's completely unlikable.
I kind of enjoy Willow and Drew going up against each other.
If I were Willow, I'd suspect from the way Drew was talking that he did something to Brennan.
Do we know where the black box is? I imagine someone will point out that Brennan wouldn't have left town without it.
"Speaking of dogs, I haven't heard from Jack in a few days." LOL.
September 14th, 2026
Britt claims that she wanted to help Anna while she was being held hostage, but she...ran out of time? I guess? Jason doesn't believe her, which angers Britt, who hates that he's choosing Anna over her, basically. Long story short, they're done. Anna asks Tristan to consult with her new psychiatrist, hoping that the WSB will be satisfied that her treatment is bureau-adjacent enough. He agrees, telling her that he once made the mistake of putting the bureau ahead of a human life, and he'll never do that again. He reaches out to Britt, but she denies that her encounter with Anna was significant. Emma tries to bar Josslyn from talking to Anna, then warns that if anything happens to her grandmother, she'll hold Josslyn responsible. Josslyn gets Anna's side of what happened with Britt, then shares that Anna's message in the Wyndemere bunker helped her stay strong during her own captivity. Anna gives her permission to follow protocol and report her, and though Josslyn doesn't want to subject her to that, she tells Baines that Anna is seeking treatment through non-bureau means. Hudson complains to Carly that Josslyn is making him work too much, and he needs Carly's help to convince her to bring in someone else so he can go back to Australia. Instead, Carly gets him to agree to some unspecified scheme. Hudson calls someone to report that things went exactly as he'd hoped because he handled Carly the way that someone advised him to. Baines questions Nina about her relationship with Brennan and where she was the night he disappeared. She says she's been trying to reach him so she can apologize for their fight, but I doubt Baines believes her. Scout joins Alexis and Molly while they're at the Metro Court, unbothered by the possibility of Drew finding out that they spent time together. Molly warns Alexis that she's risking trouble, but Alexis is fed up with Drew and isn't going to act like his treatment of Scout is okay anymore. Cody and Serena (and later, Mac and Felicia) are filler, but it's nice that they're getting to know each other better.
To answer Britt's question, yes, if Anna had killed her, I think Jason would have helped her cover it up.
What Jason should have said was, "I know you're traumatized, but so is Anna, and your trauma isn't more important than hers."
Anyway, thank God that relationship is over. Who will be Jason's next totally random love interest?
Imagine having a problem with your boss and going to her mother about it.
September 15th, 2026
Josslyn tells Baines what Anna did to Britt, asking him to let Anna stay in town while she undergoes treatment. She runs into Emma and lets her know that she followed WSB protocol and reported Anna. Emma calls her selfish and again says she'll blame Josslyn for whatever happens to Anna. Josslyn tells Jason that she only did what Anna asked. He thinks that she requested that Josslyn follow protocol because she fears she'll need the WSB to stop her if she goes after Britt again. Britt tells Valentin about her near-murder by Anna, wanting someone to make sure that Anna can't come after her again. Valentin goes straight to his ex, who tells him all about her hallucinations and belief that she needed to kill all of Faison's descendants. She's concerned about how easily she was able to hide things and scared that she might try again. He offers to help her flee town so the WSB can't have her locked up again. While Chase talks to Alexis about divorce, Tracy tells Brook that she's not going to discuss the topic anymore. She hopes that the couple works things out, and she won't interfere. Nina tells Willow, Britt, and Obrecht that the WSB is poking around in her business and might turn to them next. Obrecht thinks the solution is simple: Willow can use her seat to protect her mother. Willow says that she needs to be on her best behavior right now, which may include not doing anything with Chase that she shouldn't. Emma is frustrated that Anna won't talk to her about her mental health or the details of what's going on with her, especially since she'll talk to Josslyn instead. Carly and Jason don't really do anything, but at least he gets more sympathy from her over his breakup than Britt gets from Obrecht. Cody is filler again, this time with Molly.
I bet Baines just loves having to wade through all these crazy people's drama.
I have some sympathy for Britt, but she makes it really hard.
Seeing Nina, Willow, Britt, and Obrecht all together just makes me think how incredible it is that Nathan came out of that family so normal.
I'm going to need Emma to chill for five minutes. Obviously I get why she's upset that Anna won't open up to her, but she should be glad that Anna's talking to anyone.
September 16th, 2026
Chase has decided to move out and is giving serious through to a legal separation. Brook thinks they can fix things, since they always have before, and she suggests that they move into their own house to get away from her family. He points out that the problem this time is her and the fact that they have different ideas of what honesty means. However, he agrees not to file for a separation until they've talked more about where things stand. Nina complains to Sonny that Carly sicced the WSB on her, as if one of the other dozen witnesses to her fight with Brennan wouldn't have done the same. Ava tries to get a read on the situation, which Nina's pretty casual about, since she had nothing to do with Brennan's disappearance. Things quickly spiral when Baines arrests her. Carly stops by Anna's and finds Valentin with her. She takes off, and Anna sends Valentin after her, but he insists on making sure she's okay first. When Felicia comes over, Anna tells her that she appreciated Valentin's support, but she's going to turn him loose so he can focus on Carly instead. Carly lets Valentin keep the details of Anna's situation to himself, having guessed that it's related to the WSB. That's not going to help her feel better about Josslyn's job with the bureau. Ava tells Drew about her tick, warning that if the situation draws further attention, someone might trace the tick to the nature preserve, which could lead them to Brennan's body. He assures her that even if that happens, she won't be a person of interest. Scout apologetically tells Danny that she lied to Drew that she was with him while she was at a party on the beach. Danny isn't happy but agrees to back up her story. Charlotte suspects that Scout was really with a guy she doesn't want her brother to know about. With Scout's behavior threatening more rage from Drew, Charlotte is even more motivated to mess with him. She wants to have him get caught with someone he shouldn't be with – namely, her. Tracy asks Sonny to talk to Gio about forgiving Brook so she doesn't face losing her son along with her husband. Drew manages to do some parenting, helping Scout with her homework and actually, like, spending time with her. She confides how hard it was for her while he was locked in, and he assures her that they'll get back to the relationship they used to have.
I don't want Brook and Chase to split up, but also, how many second chances is he going to give her?
Carly's going to get a taste of what it's been like for Jason's love interests whenever he dropped everything for her.
"If I were trying to seduce you, you'd already be naked and grateful." Heh. I'd call Ava a queen if she weren't such a horrible person.
I can't believe Drew hasn't already confronted Danny about supposedly being with Scout. Well, I guess he's been busy covering up an accidental death.
Charlotte's scheme is going to be a train wreck no matter how it goes, and I'm kind of looking forward to it.
Scout's taking calculus? And she already has a test, like, three days into the school year? Okay.
September 17th, 2026
Nina is very unhappy about being in custody, and Ric can't get her to calm down and stop talking to Baines. When Baines finds Brennan's wallet in her car, she realizes that someone is setting her up. Despite having no other evidence and no idea what happened to Brennan or where he is, Baines gets permission to extradite Nina. Ava accuses Drew of framing Nina, which he openly admits to. He tells Ava everything Willow and Nina have done to him, guessing that she'll put Avery and their plan ahead of any compassion she might have for Nina. Brook lashes out at Lucy for telling Chase too much and demands her Deception shares back. Lucy refuses and goes right back to scheming to regain control of Deception, setting up a dinner meeting with Michael and Serena that I'm sure she'll find a reason to skip so they can spend time alone. Josslyn wants Carly to stay out of anything related to the WSB, since her getting herself in trouble is the last thing Josslyn needs right now. Carly notes that it sounds like she's afraid of her employer, but Josslyn says it's more about respect. Brook wants to make amends to the people she's hurt, and she starts with Jordan. Jordan kindly accepts her apology and doesn't hold anything against her. She also thinks that Brook should focus on fixing her own life before she continues making amends. That said, if she can find a way to help Curtis, she should. Justine turns down Sonny's offer to go on vacation together, since Robert is officially stepping down as DA and she'll likely succeed him. She also wants a federal judgeship one day, so she can't risk her relationship with Sonny being found out. Long story short, I don't see how much longer this can go if all they can do is sneak around. Trina visits Curtis and lets him know that she's fired Brook as her manager and might be done with music altogether. He hopes the latter isn't true, since knowing that she's doing something she loves is helping him get through each day. He warns her not to let down her guard with the Quartermaines, since they might try to appease her with money.
Is the WSB a joke? They have no case.
Nina won't last five minutes wherever they take her.
Drew and Ava are a nightmare pairing but their scenes are fun to watch.
I really appreciate how well Jordan handled the conversation with Brook. Unlike Ava, she can have queen status.
September 18th, 2026
Charlotte lets herself into Drew's car and waits for him as flashbacks show her telling Danny her plan: She's going to film herself acting intimate with Drew, then blackmail him into letting Danny see Scout. Danny tries over and over to talk her out of it, warning that she might ruin her future along with Drew's life. When she doesn't answer his calls, he goes so far as to try to get in touch with Drew. Ric tells Willow what's going on with Nina but can't get her to say what they've been up to with Brennan. Willow easily figures out that Drew is probably behind this. Lulu meets with Valentin to discuss Charlotte's latest misadventures and how she and Danny are bad for each other. Valentin doesn't think there's anything to worry about, which Lulu guesses is because he doesn't want to be the bad guy. Drew allegedly feels bad about what Brook did to Jordan and Curtis, though mostly he wants to complain that the Quartermaines covered something up and Brook won't face consequences. Jordan admits that she wants to get Brook to use the family's influence and consequences to get Curtis released early. Drew doubts that'll work, since they don't have an incentive. Dante laments that he hasn't been able to keep control of much during his time as interim commissioner. Elizabeth reminds him that he's not God and can't be perfect, though he can do better. Then she makes him do yoga class, and there's lots of touching, which Molly sees. Molly runs into Lucas and Joe and thinks they have chemistry. Lucas denies that there's anything there, but Molly isn't convinced.
Charlotte, even Danny thinks this is a bad idea. That should tell you something.
The way Valentin said that Lulu was probably a lot like Charlotte as a teen makes me think he doesn't know her history. I mean, he wouldn't be so dismissive if he knew that Lulu was taking a pregnancy test on her 18th birthday.
I think Lulu is exactly right about Valentin: He wants to be a "cool" dad, so he's letting Charlotte get away with whatever she wants.
LOL at Drew complaining about Brook covering up something he did when he just buried a body in a nature preserve.
September 21st, 2026
Thanks to a text from Danny, Rocco and Scout find Charlotte in Drew's car before Drew does. She can't convince Rocco to let her go through with her plan, and someone alerts Carly to shenanigans in the parking lot so she can break them up. Charlotte lies about wanting to prank Drew, but Rocco tells Carly exactly what she was planning. Carly lectures Charlotte about being reckless and not thinking things through, especially when other people could get hurt. She summons Valentin, and though Charlotte seems to think she can get out of this without him finding out what she did, Carly fills him in. Like Valentin, Jason offers to get Anna out of town in case the WSB wants to send her away. She's fine with facing her fate, and she asks him to tell Josslyn and Emma everything so they'll understand that Anna is the only one responsible. When Baines comes to talk to her, she's open about what happened with Britt. Baines tells her that since she wasn't an active agent at the time, she's not subject to protocol, and if she signs an NDA, she can stay in town. Anna quickly signs while Jason wonders why the bureau wants her to keep quiet about Cullum's adventures with cold fusion. Willow asks Valentin how she can get the WSB to release Nina. He guesses that Drew set her up, so Willow thinks that she can just point the bureau in his direction. Instead, Valentin tells her to make herself indispensable to the WSB. Danny can't get to the hotel himself because Tracy caught him trying to steal her car, and now he has to do even more chores to atone. He vents to Cody about how difficult Drew is making his life and how it's harmed his relationship with Rocco. Cody advises him to follow Drew's rules so Drew will look like the bad guy. Britt admits to Isaiah that she stalled telling anyone about Anna's whereabouts because she was afraid of putting them both in danger. Isaiah knows what it's like to be in a tricky situation like that and doesn't hold her decision against her. Anna disapproves of Jason's decision not to back Britt with the police and WSB. He tells her that it comes down to not being able to trust Britt, though Anna acknowledges that it seems like they're ending their relationship because of her. Scout is upset that everyone hates her father and uses her as an excuse to go after him, since it just makes things worse for her.
Carly's right – Charlotte's scheme is exactly something she would have done when she was younger. Charlotte needs a Jason to keep her in line.
More to support what Lulu said about Valentin wanting to be the cool parent: He was totally willing to leave with Charlotte without asking her why Carly called him.
I'm surprised Baines hasn't talked to Britt about what happened with Anna. I'm also surprised it took him this long to talk to Anna.
When did Cody become so good at giving advice?
I appreciate getting Scout's perspective about everything with Drew.

While Lulu frets to Dante that she thinks Charlotte is going to get herself into trouble, Valentin lectures Charlotte about exactly that. She won't admit that she could have gotten hurt if Drew had found her before Rocco and Scout did, and she can't grasp that she shouldn't be doing the sorts of things Valentin might do. He finally starts parenting her, though he goes about it the wrong way, declaring that she can't spend time with Danny anymore. Carly deliberately doesn't tell Lulu what's going on with Charlotte, but she does tell Molly, hoping that Molly will convince Scout not to say anything to Drew. Scout agrees that Drew would just blame Danny and make everything worse. She'll just add this secret to the one she's already keeping about all the time she's been spending with Rocco, since she doubts that Drew would approve of her hanging out with Sonny's grandson. Jordan and Justine get together for a drink at the same bar where Sonny and Jason are catching up. Jordan's happy to hear that Justine wants to become the DA permanently, while Justine seems to be weighing whether it's worth risking her relationship with Sonny. Later, Jordan sees them kissing in an alley. Britt runs into Anna, Emma, and Felicia and acts like a brat, complaining that everyone is ignoring her and rallying around Anna. Emma wants to get into it with her, but Anna smooths things over by apologizing to Britt and thanking her for not pressing charges. Britt finally acknowledges that Anna wasn't in her right mind, then confesses that she didn't do anything to help her when Cullum was holding her hostage. Anna brushes that off and notes that Britt was harmed by Faison just as she was. Tracy explains to Danny that she's been hard on him because she wants him to reach his full potential the way Jason didn't. She thinks that Jason is steering him in the right direction.
Really, Charlotte? You don't remember any other time you put yourself in a dangerous situation?
Jordan being the first person to catch Sonny and Justine together is probably the best-case scenario.
Britt, go to therapy.
Poor Danny. He keeps getting punished for trying to do the right thing.

Willow wants to team up with Ava to find Brennan so they can get Nina released. Ava makes an excuse that that'll take too long, then tries to convince Willow that Carly killed Brennan, and they can get Nina released by proving it. Chase meets with his new lawyer, Monet, even though he's not sure he wants a legal separation, let alone a divorce. Monet is already committed to getting him what he deserves, and she's fully willing to take on the Quartermaines. Her first advice is for Chase to move back into the mansion, whether Tracy likes it or not. Chase runs into Willow at the gym, and Drew sees them doing that thing where they look more intimate than they should. Trina has decided that she can't continue her music career since Brook got her into it, so she tells Gio she's out. He's supportive and decides to walk away, too. But Brook talks them into changing their minds by saying that she doesn't want Trina to lose anything else because of Brook. She even agrees to step down as their manager so Trina doesn't have to work with her anymore. Tracy tries to paint Chase as the bad guy in his and Brook's potential split, since he's the one who left, but Brook won't have it. Tracy then schemes with Yuri, wanting Chase to stray with Willow so Brook can get full custody of Phoebe. Portia takes Des to visit Curtis, reassuring him that she's going to help them maintain a relationship. Later, Curtis gets a warning courtesy of Sonny that something's about to go down in his cell. Drew confronts Kai for knowing that Willow was the one who shot him and not telling anyone. But he's not mad – he's pleased that Kai kept checking on him, and he wants Kai to work for him again. Sonny and Ric discuss the auction of Sidwell's assets and whether Drew is a threat, and there's really no point in any of it. Then Ava goes to yell at Sonny for some reason related to Avery.
Of course Ava couldn't pass up the opportunity to mess with Carly, but she should have floated Valentin as the person who killed Brennan. It makes more sense, but it still involves Carly.
Monet has been teased as having a connection to an existing character, and another teaser said that Jordan's family is going to be explored, so I'm going to guess that they're sisters.
Oh, Yuri. You're too good for your employers.
Des' little jacket is too cute.

Chase talks over his situation with Willow, who thinks he should move back into the Quartermaines', mostly because it would be good for Phoebe. He's pleased to have someone around who understands what it's like to be an outsider in the family. Willow later fantasizes about making out with him in the sauna. Tracy has met her match in Monet, who cautions her to do what's best for Brook and Phoebe, or risk Brook losing custody. Tracy agrees to let Chase move back in, which Michael objects to. She tells him that having Chase and Willow on the same property could lead to them hooking up, which will give Brook an advantage in court. Jordan tells Justine that she saw her kissing Sonny and asks if she's willing to sacrifice her career for him. Justine acts like this isn't a big deal, and hooking up with a known criminal won't come back to haunt her if she's ever found out. But then she goes straight to Sonny and tells him this might be the last time they speak. Drew tells Michael that he saw Chase and Willow together, but Michael really doesn't care. He acknowledges that Drew faced a lot of consequences for the mistakes he made with Willow, and he urges Drew to move forward like he has. Drew hopes to team with Michael and Jordan to "take Aurora to the next level," but Michael doesn't trust him. Sidwell wants to hire Alexis to help him appeal his case, as he claims he made his confessions under duress (no word on why he thinks a judge would overturn his convictions for shooting two people in front of witnesses). Alexis has no interest in helping him, and she seems unmoved by his warning that Sonny will likely have him killed in prison, and she would be complicit if she does nothing. Ava and Sonny fight over something stupid related to Avery and threaten each other like they always do. Whatever, it just reinforces that she wants to work with Drew to take him down, even if it means letting Nina suffer for something she didn't do. Jordan and Monet are, in fact, sisters, and it doesn't look like they're very close.
This Brook/Chase custody stuff is just Michael/Willow redux. No one wants this.
Justine is acting like a preteen with a crush, and it's really annoying.
Isn't Sidwell going to offer Alexis an incentive or threaten her or something? She has no reason to help him.
Monet's snarkiness about Jordan's scars answers all my questions about why Jordan didn't reach out to family when she needed a kidney transplant.

Lulu and Jason discuss their kids' recent troubles and her hesitance to crack down too hard. Meanwhile, Valentin tells Carly that he doesn't want Lulu to know what Charlotte tried to do to Drew. He also wants to send her to boarding school to get her away from both Drew and Danny. Carly convinces him to tell Lulu everything instead, then work with her to come up with the best way to handle their daughter. Amazingly, Lulu agrees with him that Charlotte should go away to school. Hudson manages to get some more time with Phoebe before Chase arrives and tells Brook that he's moving back into the mansion. She's upset that he seems to be doing it only to better his chances at custody. Jordan and Monet have a less-than-warm reunion, demonstrating that they haven't been in touch for a long time and neither is upset about it. Monet paints Jordan as self-centered, and Jordan accuses Monet of having ulterior motives for moving to Port Charles. Michael asks Josslyn to keep an eye on Chase and Willow now that they're living on the same property again. She chews him out for scheming to break up his cousin's marriage and tells him he's acting very Drew-like. Justine is concerned both with the possibility of her relationship with Sonny being discovered and the chance that he's not actually going to leave the mob. He promises he is, and that they'll be more careful, but he also claims that he's not going to break the law just as some of his minions are attacking Sidwell. Curtis warns Sidwell that some people are coming after him and he should ask the warden for protective custody. Instead, Sidwell tries to hire him as a bodyguard. Curtis declines and leaves him to his fate, but he comes back in the middle of Sidwell's assault and tries to stop it when a guy pulls a knife. All he accomplishes is getting himself beaten up as well. Charlotte's mad at Rocco for interfering in her Drew plot, and he's mad that she doesn't get what an idiot she's being. She thinks he only ran to her rescue to make himself look good to Scout.
Funny that Carly told Valentin to take the L on this one with Lulu, because I doubt she's ever done that with Sonny.
How can Valentin say that Danny's a bad influence on Charlotte while simultaneously acknowledging that he's the reason Charlotte didn't pull off her plan with Drew? And how can Lulu say that she doesn't want to enforce too many boundaries while simultaneously acknowledging that she acted out as a teen? She acted out because no one enforced boundaries when she was younger.
Why can't it be a coincidence that Monet moved to the town where her sister lives? Every other similar move has been seen as a coincidence.
After all that, Sonny and Justine are going with "we're just going to be more careful"? I hate this plot.

Charlotte's protests go ignored, and Valentin and Lulu don't back down from their decision to send her to boarding school. Lulu manages to get through to Charlotte how badly things could have gone wrong with Drew, as well as the stupidity of her plan. She seems resigned to her fate, though I don't think anyone would be surprised if she ran away, or if Danny helped her with an escape plan. Curtis and Sidwell are both taken to GH, where Dante recuses himself from investigating their assault, suspecting that Sonny was behind it. Curtis confirms that to Joe and Justine. Carly gushes to Lucas about how well things are going with Valentin, but Lucas isn't sure that he feels as strongly about her as she does about him. Valentin laments to Anna that he's a horrible father and didn't see the danger Charlotte was putting herself in like Lulu did. Sonny and Justine agree to continue sneaking around unless/until they decide that they're putting themselves at risk (though I'm not sure what risk he's putting himself in). Danny and Rocco have basically reached a truce, though that will most likely fall apart when Danny finds out that Rocco was the one who told Carly what Charlotte was plotting against Drew. Gio and Emma ask Sonny to help Gio and Trina find a new manager, since he has ties to the music industry. He agrees but cautions them to keep his involvement secret.
I thought sending Charlotte away was a dumb plot development. Turns out it's so Bluesy Burke can go to college.
Someone should probably let Drew know that there are some people who have no problem believing that he would sexually assault a teenager.
Curtis, no! Snitches get stitches!
Why didn't Emma just go over to Anna and Tristan and introduce herself to him? How stupid.

Even with Curtis stating confidently that Sidwell's attacker, Sully, named Sonny as his motivation, Justine won't admit that her boyfriend did something he explicitly told her he wouldn't. Dante doesn't want to believe it, either, so he's willing to keep an open mind. Joe may slam them both into reality with footage from the Pentonville visiting area that shows Sully talking to one of Sonny's minions. Ric races to Sonny's house as soon as he hears about Curtis and Sidwell's attacks. Sonny claims that he told Sully not to do anything to Sidwell, since it would point a big arrow at Sonny. Sonny worries that Justine will distrust him, since he promised he wouldn't go after Sidwell just before the attack. Danny blames Rocco for Charlotte being sent away and begs him to get Lulu to let her stay. Rocco is pro-boarding school, though, and thinks Danny's the reason she took things as far as she did. Monet tries to get Curtis to hire her so she can help him with an appeal. He has no interest in working with her, as well as no idea who she is. Jason agrees with Danny that Charlotte should have some say in her life, like Jason gives Danny, but her parents are within their rights to send her away for her own good. He thinks it's better for the teens to be separated for a while. Later, he and Carly acknowledge the similarities between them and the teens, and Jason worries that he hasn't set a good example for his son. Monet has Jordan feeling self-conscious about her scars, to the extent that she doesn't want to go on a business trip to Paris. It looks like Michael's probably going to try to get her into the clinic where he was treated. Rocco asks Sonny to call a truce with Drew so he and Scout won't have to worry about being kept apart. Sonny tells him that things between them are actually about to get worse. Lucas and Britt get drunk together and bore me.
Not to feed into Justine's denial, but the assailant mentioning Sonny technically doesn't incriminate him. It's not like he said, "This is for Sonny." Diane could easily get Sonny out of this.
Rocco, Sonny could save Scout's life and Drew would still hate him.
I'm very intrigued about what Monet's angle is here. Does she want Jordan to owe her?
Lucas deserves better than having to listen to Britt. We all do.
All Elizabeth did today was violate HIPAA.

Sonny consults with Jason about Sidwell and Curtis' attack, but they can't decide whether Sully or the minion, Vito, changed the plan. (Vito's gone underground, which is pretty damning.) Sonny's not happy that the people he promised he was leaving the mob will stop trusting him. It turns out that Drew and Ava were responsible for the attack – they paid Vito to arrange it with Sully, knowing that it would all come down on Sonny. Ava's upset that Curtis got caught up in it, but Drew thinks that will work in their favor, since he can back up the fake story. They meet with Vito and order him to leave town and keep quiet about their involvement. Scout spots him leaving Drew's house. Jordan is furious about Sonny seemingly telling people he's gone straight, then sending someone after Sidwell. She wants the responsible parties to pay, though Curtis doubts that they'll ever be able to prove who those parties are. Sonny and Jason send Ric to talk to him about retracting his statement about Sonny's involvement, but Curtis has no intention of doing that. Molly feels bad about asking Scout to keep secrets from Drew, so she asks Michael for advice. Of course Michael thinks she's in the right, as Drew isn't like other people and Molly's trying to help Scout maintain her relationships with the rest of her family. Scout asks Alexis if Charlotte might get in legal trouble for her attempted Drew stunt. The answer is no, which disappoints Scout. She lashes out when she thinks Alexis is implying that Drew deserves whatever happens to him. Alexis vents to Molly, and both of them worry that Scout will tell Drew about Charlotte's plot. Things between Danny and Rocco spiral as Rocco says that Charlotte should be sent away, and that if Sam were alive, she would send Danny away, too. That leads to a fistfight, then Danny's declaration that he's done with his brother. Michael doesn't buy that Sonny was behind the attack, since going after Sidwell wouldn't benefit him in any way. He stops Jordan from trying to get Curtis transferred, having arranged for her to go to the clinic in Germany to get her scars removed.
So all of a sudden, Sonny's legit? After only, like, two conversations about it?
Nice twist with Drew and Ava being behind the attack.
Not to blame the victim, but Curtis only got hurt because he didn't listen to Sully. He can't blame Sonny when, as far as he knows, Sonny tried to keep him out of it.
Not to blame the victim part 2, but Rocco had to have known that bringing up Sam was going to rile Danny up more.
